Willie Mae Prince Strickland

Willie Mae Prince Strickland, age 90 of 926 ½ Central Ave., and widow of Elbert W. Strickland, died Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at the home of her daughter.
She was born in Union and was a daughter of the late Frank and Minnie White Prince. She was retired from J. P. Steven ,Whitmire Plant.
Surviving are one daughter, Gloria Gilliam of Whitmire; two brothers, Thomas Prince and David Prince both of Whitmire, four sisters, Lula Hamilton, Margie Felker and Frances Erskine all of Whitmire and Dorothy Stewart of Union; three grandchildren, Wayland Gilliam of Saluda, April Gilliam and Christie Gilliam Swain both of Whitmire and seven great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted Friday, June 11th at 11:00 a.m. in Whitmire Cemetery by Rev. Todd Johnson. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
