Willis Reeder Davis

Willis R. Davis, age 72, of 366 Thomason Farm Rd., passed away Friday, April 8th, 2016, at his home.
He was born in Waterloo, SC, and was a son of the late James Austin Davis, Sr. and the late Ethel Reeder Davis.
Mr. Davis retired from the US Postal Service as a rural mail carrier. He was a member of Waterloo United Methodist Church and attended Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the SC National Guard.
Surviving are his brother, Ray Davis of Waterloo, and his sister, Sadie Fuller of Laurens.
He was predeceased by a sister, Rebecca Sherfield, and two brothers, James A. Davis, Jr. and J. W. Davis.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, April 11th, at 2:00 p.m., at Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church by Rev. Alex Henderson and Rev. Dan Bradley. Burial will follow in the Waterloo Cemetery.
The family will greet friends at the church from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Monday.
