Wilma Louise Long Childers

Wilma L. Childers, age 91 formerly of 92 Lovers Lane, died Tuesday, September 1, 2009 in White Oak Manor in Newberry.
She was born in Hopewell, VA and was a daughter of the late Claude and Fannie Hullender Long.
Mrs. Childers was retired from Whitten Center.
Surviving are one son, James Curtis Childers of Whitmire, two daughters, Brenda Wallen of Whitmire and Carole Gosnell of Newberry; one brother, Earl Long of Newberry, six grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Fred Long and Claude Long, Jr.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2:00 p.m. in Gray Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Whitmire Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
