Woodrow F. Zeigler

Woodrow F. Zeigler, age 93, formerly of Smith Road and widower of Ethel Salters Zeigler died Sunday, November 29, 2009 in the NHC of Laurens.
He was born in Calhoun County and was the son of the late Julius M. and Lula Mae Zeigler.
Mr. Zeigler was a retired farmer, a member of the St. James United Methodist Church and a W.W. II U.S. Army Air Force veteran.
He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Surviving are a son, Nick Zeigler of Hickory Tavern and a daughter, Cindy Hyatt of Hickory Tavern; six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at the Forest Lawn Cemetery by Rev. Charlie Short.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc., 2711 Middleburg Dr., Suite 205, Columbia, SC 29204 or the American Cancer Society; Arthur State Bank C/O Shelby Deitz, P.O. Box 481, Clinton, SC 29325.
The family will be at their respective homes.
